Job Title: Purchase Ledger Controller

· Salary: £25,000pa - £30,000pa (dependent on experience)

· Location: Manchester City Centre

Agility is working with an established company with over 50 years of experience in the recovery industry. They are one of the largest vehicle breakdown and recovery groups in the UK.

Due to the expansion of the group structure, they are looking for a candidate to join our finance team to manage our Purchase Ledger function.

What you will be doing:

  • Inputting invoices onto Sage 200 including maintaining the Purchase Order system and ensuring appropriate authorisation is received.
  • Checking Supplier Statements and addressing any discrepancies prior to the Weekly payment run.
  • Weekly aged creditor review to highlight and ongoing queries or late authorisations
  • Liaising with the Supplier Network by telephone and email
  • Liaising with Depot Managers re Purchase Orders & authorisations.
  • Making urgent payments by Company Credit Card.

About you:

  • The ability to work at a fast pace and accurately record data.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and on own initiative.
  • Ability to Multitask complex queries with an attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of Office 365 and any other relevant computer-based systems.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Sage 200 is desirable but not a necessity.
