My client is a well-established and trusted accountancy practice that provides a range of accounting, tax and advisory services to individuals and businesses of various sizes and sectors. They are looking for a professional and reliable accountant to join our team and manage the accounting needs of our clients.
Your day will look like this :
- Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns, budgets, forecasts and other reports for clients
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws and other regulations
- Provide accounting advice and guidance to clients and help them achieve their financial goals
- Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities and other stakeholders
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation
- Keep abreast of the latest developments and changes in the accounting industry and the best practices
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field
- A professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA (or AAT)
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in an accountancy practice or a similar environment
- Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- A high level of accuracy, attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- A proactive, flexible and team-oriented approach and a willingness to learn and develop
