This is an opportunity to work with a worldwide recognised institution within a senior leadership capacity, alongside of a highly skilled workforce of talent from across the Globe. The Finance Director will be responsible for the financial strategy within a business critical position.

Key Duties of the Finance Director

• Lead on the transformation project for the finance division, implementing unprecedented change across an organisation of over 30 million turnover and 150 staff
• Carry out business as usual finance for a complex organisation and key contributor to the local social and cultural economy as a major employer within the area
• A Finance Director is sought to play a critical role in the strategic development and management of the organisation and to be responsible for the financial management and organisational performance
• Reporting to the Vice-Chancellor, you will be a key member of the University Executive Team Board
• Handle complex and unique organisations and you will need to be able to demonstrate success operating in a similar environment with multiple stakeholders, a track record of change management experience at the highest level, proven strategic and operational leadership ability and the personal attributes to ensure financial rigour and performance standards of the highest quality are embedded

Key Skills and Qualification of the Finance Director

ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CIPFA qualified
Experience in a leading finance role
Complex organisation structure knowledge
