A reputable Milnthorpe-based company is currently seeking to hire an Accounts Assistant for a permanent position.
As a key member of the team reporting to the Financial Controller, the Accounts Assistant will be actively involved in various daily tasks, including:
- Coding Purchase Invoices
- Credit Control
- Maintaining ledgers to ensure the Sales and Purchase Ledgers are current
- Initiating Monthly Runs and processing payments for Inter Company Accounts
- Conducting stock counts
- Managing Petty Cash
- Handling Daily Banking activities
The ideal candidate for the Accounts Assistant position should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role and ideally be pursuing their AAT qualification (study support will be provided after a qualifying period).
