Position Overview:

My client is looking for an Assistant Accountant who excels in data analysis. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in providing actionable insights to support key stakeholders and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize advanced data analysis techniques to extract meaningful insights from financial data.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to forecast and analyze business performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.
  • Prepare and present financial reports and analysis to senior management, offering strategic recommendations based on findings.
  • Assist in the budgeting and planning process by providing accurate and insightful financial information.
  • Identify trends and patterns in financial data to proactively address potential issues and capitalize on opportunities.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and financial management.


  • Ideally AAT Qualified looking to progress to CIMA / ACCA.
  • Proven experience as a Assistant Accountant or similar role, with a strong emphasis on data analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and draw actionable conclusions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
