As an Accounts Assistant, you'll play a pivotal role in our finance department, supporting our team in various accounting tasks while gaining invaluable hands-on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoice processing, payment reconciliations, and credit control.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using industry-standard software.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures, including preparation of financial reports and statements.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve efficiency within the finance department.
- Provide support for ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Currently studying towards an AAT qualification or equivalent.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team.
