They are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join their team as an AAT Trainee Accountant. Full training will be provided to the successful candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting senior accountants with various accounting tasks, including bookkeeping, preparing financial statements, and tax returns.
- Supporting the payroll and VAT processes.
- Liaising with clients to gather necessary information and documentation.
- Utilizing accounting software and tools to perform tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Participating in team meetings and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Adhering to accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A strong interest in pursuing a career in accountancy.
- AAT qualification or currently studying towards AAT qualification is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
