A rare opportunity has arisen to join a leading tech company who are about to start their next period of growth. This newly created positioin with put the Assistant Management Accountant right at the heart of the finance function and become a hands on Number 2 to an impressive FC.
My client is all about growth and ambition and therefore this role will suit ambitious accountants, studying (full support is available) and who are looking for a clear career path. On top of the day to day duties the successful candidate will have good experience in high volume reconcilliations and have a natural interest in data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
- Conduct thorough analysis of financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Support the finance team in ad-hoc projects and initiatives as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong data analysis skills
