Description

My client is a well known Fylde Coast organisation based just North of Blackpool. They are looking for an experienced accounts assistant to bolster their finance team in the role of Sales Ledger / Accounts Assistant.

As sales ledger/ accounts assistant you will be responsible (albeit not entirely) for the following :

  • The prompt production and issue of quarterly invoices
  • Recording and banking of fee receipts and other income
  • Monitoring and timely pursuit of unpaid invoices, with a weekly report for the Finance Manager
  • Resolving promptly any queries
  • Efficient and prompt reporting of debtors and any other problems to the so that appropriate measures can be taken
  • Preparation of information needed for quarterly and annual financial accounts

Due to the nature of the role the successful candidate will be a strong and confident communicator who ideally has experience in Credit Control. Ideally you will be a self starter who has an ability to "hit the ground runing."
