Location: Birmingham (East midlands)
Type: Full-time (hybrid working after probational period)
Salary: 26k commensurate with experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize Power BI and SQL to analyze large datasets, generate reports, and provide actionable insights to various stakeholders.
  • Data Visualization: Create compelling and informative data visualizations to help communicate complex data in a clear and concise manner.
  • Data Management: Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing regular data audits and maintaining databases.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with different departments to understand their data needs and provide support for data-driven decision making.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data analysis and visualization, and implement best practices to improve our data processes.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Stem based Bachelor's degree or a related field.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Experience in Power BI and SQL is a plus.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
    • Experience with data visualization and creating dashboards.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience:
    • Internship or project experience in data analysis or a related field is a plus.
    • Familiarity with other data tools and programming languages such as Python or R is advantageous.
