Role Overview:

As the Interim Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the finance department, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, analysis, and support for decision-making processes. You will work closely with senior management to provide insights and recommendations that will drive the business forward.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards.
  • Analyze financial performance, identifying trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting process, providing detailed analysis and input.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Oversee cash flow management and ensure timely reconciliation of accounts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives and projects.
  • Implement and maintain effective internal controls and financial procedures.
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Accountant.
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) is essential.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
