Would you like to be part of an established Accountancy Practice based near Preston who due to expansion are looking to meet with candidates who have been recently studying in higher education who are looking for a career in accountancy

They are currently looking for a Junior Accountant to join their team; this would be an excellent opportunity to further your career allowing you to become a qualified accountant.

They will cover all the costs towards your training programme, giving you a debt-free route to a professional qualification.

The responsibilities will include:

As a trainee you will be undertaking, assisting and learning how to:

• Prepare period end financial statements for companies, partnerships, sole traders and LLP's
• Prepare period end tax returns including corporation tax, partnership and personal tax
• Bookkeeping and VAT reporting
• Develop knowledge of various accounting packages and keeping up to date with various packages
• Direct client interaction to ensure accounts are finalised in a timely manner
• Liaise with H M Revenue & Customs

What are we looking for?

• Qaulification in Accountancy and Finance would be an advantage
• A high level of analytical and numerical problem-solving skills.
