Credit Control

Description

A great opportunity is available in Blackpool for an experienced Credit Controller to work in a privately owned media company. This is a fast paced business who operates globally with their main customer base being in the USA.

You will have responsibility for your own ledger and a summary of duties will include

• Sole responsibility for processing daily banking and allocating customer payments to correct account and invoices by BACS, Cheque & Card
• Invoicing customers through either customer web portal or hard copy
• Chasing and negotiation of debts with customers by e-mail or by telephone
• Set up all new customer accounts including pro formas
• Setting credit limits for customers based on online reports or through our credit insurance brokers
• Cash flow reporting
• Credit card reconciliations
• Other ad hoc duties as required by the finance team.

Due to the client base being in the USA working hours will reflect this and there will be a requirement to work 2 evening a week with flexible start time 3 days.
