Are you a detail-driven Bookkeeper with a passion for precision? A modern and forward-thinking accountancy practice is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to play a key role in supporting its diverse portfolio of clients.
What you'll be doing
- Managing client accounts with accuracy and efficiency
- Processing VAT returns in line with current HMRC regulations
- Reconciling bank accounts, preparing journals, and maintaining ledgers
- Liaising directly with clients to gather information and resolve queries
- Supporting our accountants with month-end and year-end tasks
What we're looking for
- Solid bookkeeping experience (ideally within an accountancy practice)
- Strong knowledge of VAT rules and deadlines
- Proficiency with accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, or similar)
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Confident communicator who enjoys building client relationships
