Job Title: Financial Accountant

Salary: £35,000 per annum

Location: Bamber Bridge, Preston

Responsibilities:

Conduct balance sheet reconciliations for various accounts including payroll, loans, tax, creditors, debtors, and other relevant areas.
Manage reconciliation of electronic payment systems, navigating through a rapidly expanding and complex landscape.
Oversee fixed asset system management and ensure accurate reconciliation.
Take charge of P&L reporting for a newly acquired contract, ensuring meticulous financial management.
Handle payroll journals and effectively manage employee invoices.
Manage payment runs, processing, and meticulous checking, including ad hoc payments as required.
Ensure efficient SAP and SharePoint master data management.
Oversee revenue interface management to maintain accurate financial records.
Manage daily banking operations and float management to optimize cash flow.
Responsible for bank card management, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure liquidity and financial stability.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Proven experience in financial accounting and systems management.
Proficiency in SAP and SharePoint master data management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Relevant professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, AAT) preferred.
Study support offered for the right candidate.
Working from home 1 day per week also available after initial bedding in period.
